Our Junior Kindergarten (J) program offers a top quality program. Since its openings in 1996, over 200 children have graduated from the program.
Our mission is to offer a variety of learning opportunities geared to the needs of each individual child. Our aim is to get children ready for their Senior Kindergarten!
Our current schedules offer as 2, 3, or 5 full days that's convenient to you and your child.
2 full day 8:35am - 3:35 pm (Tue, Thurs) 3 full day 8:35am - 3:35 pm (Mon,Wed,Fri) - combined with SK 5 full day 8:35am - 3:35 pm (Mon-Fri)
Curriculum Highlight
JK program offers a gentle introduction to school curriculum which primarily focus on two themes. These themes may be incorporated into various centres, activities and the occasional field trips.
Students learn through hands on experiences at a variety of centres including drama, reading, writing, blocks, science and math. There will be such things as drama centre, science and nature, arts and crafts, book centre and gross motor activities.
In addition, jolly phonics and Handwriting Without Tears are key component to our JK language learning development.
It is our goal to prepare each student for their next step in their elementary years. Through play and structured learning activities, we equip each child with creative thinking and problem solving skills.
